Elizabeth White's interdisciplinary practice includes work with photography, video, performance, installation, and social relations. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured by The Girl Project and in the “Discover New Talent” section of ArtInfo.com. Elizabeth has been honored with an Aaron Siskind Fellowship and the support of the Hattie Strong Foundation. She holds an M.F.A. in photography, video, and related media from the School of Visual Arts, and a B.A. in sociology from Vassar College. Elizabeth currently teaches digital imaging and new media culture courses at Purchase College (SUNY), the College of Staten Island (CUNY) and Ramapo College of New Jersey, and has been a guest critic at Parsons and Sarah Lawrence. She also edits the blog, HOT ART ACTION!, compiling listings of interesting art talks and events around New York. |
